First of all, I would like to thank mediakonsumen.com for publishing this letter. Long story short, I bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max online from the ibox.co.id site, on February 9, 2022 and I received it on February 12, 2022.

In terms of using the iPhone13 Pro Max, I am very careful. Among other things, I used a charger , a scratch-resistant screen and casing that I bought at the iBox, it never fell and was exposed to water, and never over-charged . In essence, I really took care of my iPhone 13 Pro Max, so there were no scratches at all.

But the thing I really didn't want happened on Sunday, October 23, 2022, when I updated to IOS 16.0.3. Initially when downloading IOS the screen flashes a few times. Then during the IOS installation process , suddenly the screen experienced a blank white screen and caused me to not be able to access my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The next day, Monday October 24, 2022, I contacted Halo iBox and AppleCare to report the problem with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Then an escalation was carried out by the team, then on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, came to the conclusion that my iPhone 13 Pro Max had a damaged LCD and had to be serviced, not replaced with a new unit.

I am very disappointed with the quality of Apple Indonesia's products and after-sales service. Because my iPhone 13 Pro Max is still under warranty, but it is recommended for service. Which is what definitely makes the quality of the screen and adhesive glue not what it used to be. There will even be a history of replacement of spare parts and services in the settings section of the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which will affect the selling price.

From the information I got from the internet, what I experienced on my iPhone 13 Pro Max was also experienced by many other iPhone 13 Pro Max consumers in Indonesia. This makes me wonder if the iPhone 13 Pro Max screen is a failed product?

Through this letter, I hope that Apple Indonesia hears complaints and provides the best solution to consumers, not only limited to services that will only make consumers lose, considering that the iPhone 13 Pro Max is one of Apple's premium products with an expensive selling price.
